National Railway Museum
The National Railway Museum is located in the centre of York just 2.7 miles from Middlethorpe Hall.
Built up over the past 80 years, the collection has over 100 locomotives and nearly 200 other items of rolling stock, telling the story of the railway from the early C19th to today.
