Who is Mad Alice? For those who do not live in York, Mad Alice wanders the streets and snickleways leading a tour to historic landmarks. With 2000 years of history, York has fascinating stories of the macabre and the extraordinary. Mad Alice will uncover the tales of the Romans, the Viking invasion and the Plague for you, amongst other tales of torture and execution. Not for the light-hearted!
Mad Alice will bring these tales to life, from the city's most famous son Guy Fawkes, to Dick Turpin, the famous highwayman hanged at York in 1739.
Join us for this exciting evening and sit back and enjoy an exquisite three-course dinner with selected wines.
6:30pm - Arrive for reception drinks and canapés
7:00pm - Three-course dinner will be served with selected wines, concluding with coffee and sweetmeats.
