By Road:
Take the A64(T) off the A1(T) near Tadcaster, follow signs to York West for 14 miles and continue to the sign marked York West (A1036). Follow signs to the Racecourse and Bishopthorpe. Middlethorpe is on the right just before the Racecourse.

There is ample parking.

By Rail:
The nearest station is York to which there is an excellent and very fast train service from Kings Cross station in London (1 hour 50 minutes), Edinburgh (2 hours 30 minutes) and most parts of Britain. Taxis are readily available at York station or private transfer can also be arranged upon request.
