Best Venue for the Ceremony
For intimate weddings, 4-12 guests, the Upstairs Sitting Room offers a traditional setting within the historic Hall. This works well in conjunction with the Library for the reception, and the Yellow Room for the wedding Breakfast.
An original and unique option for a small intimate ceremony is the Dovecote, situated in the Walled Potager Garden and hosts up to 20 standing guests.
For weddings of up to 56 guests, the Barlow Room has its own entrance and an attractive airy feel. During summer month the South Terrace is perfect for a drink reception, with the Grill Room ideal for the wedding breakfast.

With its award-winning gardens and extensive grounds, Middlethorpe can be yours with exclusive use for a day or weekend, and with the possibility of erecting a hired Marquee on the South Lawn.
