Award Winning Middlethorpe Hall, Restaurant and Spa Scoops New Award

Middlethorpe Hall, Restaurant and Spa, part of the Historic House Hotels group has been consistently winning awards since it opened 20 years ago. This month, the hotel won the Gold Ribbon Premier Award for 2004, this is only awarded to hotels, townhouses and restaurants with rooms that offer nothing less than the very finest in comfort, cuisine, customer care and service.

Middlethorpe Hall is close to York city centre and set in 20 acres of its own gardens and parkland, close to the race course. It was built in 1699 and has been carefully restored with decorations, antiques and fine pictures chosen as consistent with the period of the house. The gardens and parkland have also been restored.
