Molton Brown Spa comes to Middlethorpe Hall, Hotel, Restaurant and Spa
Middlethorpe Hall, Restaurant and Spa is situated in a park just inside historic York. This glorious William and Mary house, was formerly the home of the famous diarist Lady Mary Wortley Montagu, and is a joy just to enter! The relaxing Spa is just a short walk from the hotel, and is converted from an original stone-built cottage. There are 3 beauty salons staffed by qualified therapists providing treatments using Clarins, E'Spa, Jessica, OPI, St. Tropez and the Spa range from Molton Brown. Molton Brown Spa treatments are new to Middlethorpe and the Spa is only one of 2 exclusive UK Spa's outside London to provide the new Molton Brown Spa range.
At Middlethorpe Spa, you will be able to have a Molton Brown Equabalance facial which leaves the senses and circulation energised and equalised, and the Lifeforce facial which leaves the skin feeling moisturised and dewy.
There are also the amazing corporeal cocoon bodywraps, which deliver deep rejuvenation to the body and the senses with a blend of active topical ingredients and potent essential oils. The wraps include Eucalyptus, Grapeseed, Gingerlily and Yuan Zhi.
Finally the refreshing body polishes, there is a choice of two different scrubs; one is the Red Vine Leaf with a ground olive Stone base and is finished off with a massage of Eucalyptus or Grapeseed oil massage. The second scrub is Maracuja (passion flower) this is a sugar based scrub and ends with a Gingerlily or Yuan Zhi oil massage The Spa has a 50' swimming pool edged with comfortable reclining chairs, whirlpool spa bath, steam room and sauna. There is also a superb gymnasium which has all the latest technologically advanced equipment, suitable for all ranges of fitness. Plus a comfortable Club Room where guests and members can relax and enjoy drinks and light meals, served on the terrace in the summer.

Middlethorpe are currently offering a wonderful Spa break which is for more than one consecutive night nights (weekend subject to availability), and includes early morning tea, cooked breakfast, three-course dinner, a half bottle of Champagne per person in the room on arrival and full use of Middlethorpe Spa, the following treatments on your first day and a £30.00 allowance towards treatments of your choice for each additional night's stay. Your choice of one of the following:

A one hour Molton Brown Body Treatment of your choice
Prices start from: £180.00 per person for a single twin or double room (Sunday - Thursday) and £210 per person for single, twin or double room (Friday - Saturday).
Partners who may not wish to take any treatments may stay for £130.00 per night (Sunday - Thursday) or £150.00 per night (Friday - Saturday). Rates are per person per night for a single twin or double room and include service and VAT.
For those who live locally you can also book full or half day Spa days.
