Pimms and Canapés on the Lawn at Middlethorpe Hall, Restaurant and Spa


Middlethorpe Hall, Restaurant and Spa on Bishopthorpe Road in York will be holding a Ladies afternoon on 9th June at 2.00, all are invited to Pimms and canapés on the Terrace.


It will be the perfect opportunity for you and your friends to enjoy the 20 acres of beautiful gardens and parkland. The garden is often called a plantsman's garden as it's full of unusual and interesting treasures scattered throughout a maze of small gardens. It is cottage gardening on a grand scale.


While wandering the garden, you will also be able to visit the 16th Century dovecote which now holds Middlethorpe's extensive Champagne and wine collection. For those who really do enjoy looking around, you will also be able to see the interior of the eighteenth century hotel and the twenty first century spa.


Middlethorpe Hall, Restaurant and Spa is situated in a park just outside historic York, this glorious William and Mary house was formerly the home of the famous diarist Lady Mary Wortley Montagu.


The spa has experienced therapists offering a wide range of treatments using Clarins, E'SPA, Jessica and St. Tropez products and there is a gymnasium and swimming pool area.
